A young couple engaged to be married in just two months was killed in a fiery, five-car crash involving two drunken drivers early Wednesday on Long Island.

Five vehicles — carrying a total of nine occupants — were involved in the 1:30 a.m. accident near Burnside Avenue in Inwood, a Nassau County Police Department spokesman said.

Two people died when their car burst into flames, police said. Five others were injured. Three were taken to area hospitals and two were treated at the scene.

Of the hospitalized motorists, two people were arrested and charged with DWI, the spokesman said. Their identities have not yet been released.

The two people killed were identified as Yisroel Levin, of Brooklyn, and Elisheva Kaplan, of Queens, by Yeshiva World News, which said they were engaged.
