Two people were injured — one critically — when they were hit by a black dump truck in Brooklyn on Thursday morning, officials said.

The women were on 43rd Street and Third Avenue in Sunset Park just before noon when they were struck, cops said.

Both were taken to NYU Langone Hospital of Brooklyn, where the 65-year-old victim is in critical condition with two broken femurs, officials said. The second woman, 47, suffered minor injuries.

“He [driver] made the right turn and there were two pedestrians walking. It was their right of way so the truck came down, he made the right, he smacked the two women.” said witness Nihad Khalil, 25.

The 63-year-old truck driver remained at the scene and was later charged with failure to yield to pedestrians and failure to exercise due care, cops said.
