This town isn’t big enough for two Statues of Liberty!

Rival Times Square street performers both dressed as the beacon of freedom got into a violent turf war — and one was arrested for pushing the other to the ground, ­police sources said.

“Only in New York would you see two knuckleheads dressed as the Statue of Liberty getting into a turf war,” one source said.

The men, who don costumes and green greasepaint and pose with tourists for tips, were battling for coveted territory in front of the Marriott Marquis at Broadway and 45th Street at about 4 p.m. Wednesday, the sources said.

When Alexander Lopez’s rival refused a demand to scram, Lopez allegedly shoved him, the sources said.

The two returned to the same spot Thursday, and the alleged victim reported Lopez to police.

Lopez was taken away in handcuffs and charged with assault, the sources said.

The other Liberty suffered minor injuries.
