Two men were fatally struck by trains in separate incidents early Monday, police said.
In Brooklyn, a man in his 30s was lying on the southbound B and Q line tracks inside the Church Avenue station when he was hit by a train around 1 a.m., police said. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
About three hours later, a man was struck while he was crossing the tracks at Penn Station in Manhattan.
An A-C-E line train conductor reportedly saw the victim crossing from the local to the express tracks when he was hit around 3:50 a.m. He was pronounced dead minutes later, police said.
Neither of the victims’ names were released, pending family notification, police said.
