The 45-year-old victim was in the roadway on 21st Street near 30th Road when he was hit by a dark-colored sedan around 11 p.m.

Police are still looking for the driver.

Hours later, a man was killed while walking down a busy Bronx highway, officials said.

The man was walking along the northbound side of the Major Deegan Expressway near East 138th Street when he was struck by a Nissan 370Z around 4:20 a.m.

The 28-year-old driver who struck the man remained at the scene and has not been charged with a crime.

The victim was taken to Lincoln Hospital, where he was pronounced dead.

It was not immediately clear why the pedestrian was walking on the highway.
