Two planes were involved in a collision on a taxiway at John F. Kennedy International Airport on Monday, the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) confirmed.
An Air France Airbus A-380’s wing clipped the tail of another jet while it was taxiing out to depart for Paris about 8:15pm.
FAA spokesman Jim Peters said there were no injuries in the incident, which also involved Comair flight 6293 which had just landed from Boston.
He said both jets were being towed back to the ramp area for inspection, with the extent of the damage not immediately known.
A Port Authority spokeswoman told myFOXny.com operations at the airport were not interrupted.
Comair operates regional flights for Delta.
