Two people in a nursing home were seriously injured in a fire in Kingsbridge Heights, authorities said.

It wasn’t immediately clear what started the fire around 5:45 a.m., on Cannon Place, near Giles Place, officials said.

Two victims were taken to Jacobi Hospital in critical condition, according to the FDNY. Their names and ages were not immediately available.
