Two men were shot — one fatally — in separate incidents across the city Wednesday and Thursday, according to police.

A 27-year-old man was blasted in the chest inside a building on Duryea Place near Flatbush Avenue in Brooklyn around 6:45 a.m. Thursday, cops said.

He was taken to the Kings County Hospital Center in critical but stable condition, and is described as uncooperative.

And around 7:40 p.m. Wednesday, a 32-year-old man was blasted in the lower back and torso in the hallway of a building on Grand Concourse near East 164th Street in the Concourse section of the Bronx, authorities said.

He was taken to Lincoln Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead.

The circumstances were unclear, and the victim was not immediately identified pending family notification.

The homicide was Wednesday’s only shooting, according to cops.

On Wednesday’s date in 2019, four people were shot in two separate incidents.

Overall, however, the city has endured a significant surge in shootings this year — with nearly double the number of incidents compared to the same period in 2019.
