Two people were shot Sunday during a large fight that started as people were leaving a Bronx park where several cookouts were wrapping up, police sources said.
The gunfire erupted near the corner of Bryant Avenue and E. 174th St. around 12:30 a.m.
A 28-year-old man was shot in the face and is listed in critical condition at St. Barnabas Hospital.
A 34-year-old woman took a bullet to one of her legs and was treated at the same hospital for non-life threatening injuries.
The shooter is still on the loose.
Police sources said the victims were shot as people were leaving nearby Crotona Park, where a series of barbecues had been taking place.
It’s unclear if they were the intended targets, cops said.
