Two teenage boys were stabbed on a basketball court in East Harlem on Thursday afternoon, police said.

The violence broke out just after 1:30 p.m. at the White Playground on East 106th Street near Lexington Avenue, according to police.

A 16-year-old boy was stabbed in the back, and a 13-year-old was stabbed in the shoulder, cops said. Both were taken to Mount Sinai, where they are expected to survive, police said.

A group of about 10 kids scattered following the incident, police said.

It was unclear what sparked the stabbing.
