A 16-year-old boy was killed and a girl, 15, was fighting for her life Sunday after they were struck by two hit-and-run drivers in The Bronx, authorities said.
Dylon Ramirez and the unidentified girl were crossing Baychester Avenue near Crawford Avenue at 5 p.m. when they were hit by a Honda Accord going north that sped away. Ramirez, who lives nearby, then fell into the southbound lane and was hit by a SUV that also drove off.
A family member said the teens were returning from church. Shawn Williams, 26, the Honda driver, returned an hour later and was charged with leaving the scene of an accident and reckless driving, cops said.
He told cops he panicked, a source said. Police are searching for the SUV.
