Dan Resin, the actor whose most famous role was the “Ty-D-Bol Man” in commercials, has died of complications from Parkinson’s disease, his daughter said yesterday.

Resin, who also played Dr. Beeper in the movie “Caddyshack,” was 79.

He also was in the original cast of several Broadway hit musicals.
