An Uber Eats deliveryman put a restaurant worker in a chokehold and punched the 22-year-old the head, cops said Sunday.
The encounter unfolded at a Popeye’s Louisiana Kitchen on 8th Avenue in Chelsea around 2:15 p.m. on Dec. 29 when the duo started yelling at each other, according to police.
The argument turned violent and the deliveryman choked the worker and hit him in the side of the head, cops said.
It was unknown what the two were arguing over — but video released by the NYPD shows the irate deliveryman pointing to his wrist, appearing to gesture about the time.
The Uber Eats worker, who took off on a bicycle, was still being sought by cops Sunday.
