Uber ended a three month standoff with the city and turned over electronic trip data on Friday, authorities said.

The TLC said they were evaluating the data they received to see if the company was compliant with city law.

Uber said they turned in the data, despite privacy concerns, because of the impact suspensions were having on drivers.

They had offered to turn in data by zip code, but did not want to release the addresses where trips originated or ended.

“We urge the TLC to earnestly and closely safeguard the data they have required,” said spokesman Matt Wing.
