She’s roaming the big iceberg in the sky now.

Ida (pictured), one of the Central Park Zoo’s two beloved polar bears, was euthanized yesterday after her keepers determined she was suffering from liver disease brought on by cancer. She was 25 years old.

“She was truly a wonderful animal and will be missed every day by our staff and guests,” said Jeff Sailer, director of City Zoos, in a statement.
