The unhinged man who allegedly knifed a stranger in the back in a Lower Manhattan subway station last week was busted – as prosecutors revealed Thursday the brute had flashed a knife and threatened to kill a woman about a half-hour earlier. 

Dariel Castillo, 28 – who has four prior arrests is accused of stabbing a 51-year-old man in the Broadway-Lafayette hub around 5:20 a.m. Jan. 28, cops said. 

Castillo allegedly started a fight with the victim for unknown reasons on the steps of the station before turning violent — repeatedly plunging the blade into his back, police said.

The victim was taken to Bellevue Hospital, where he was listed in stable condition. 

In a nearby attack around 4:50 a.m., Castillo allegedly grabbed an iPhone from a woman at Broadway and East Houston Street, according to a complaint filed in Manhattan Criminal Court.

When the victim tried to grab her phone back, Castillo then brandished a knife and snarled, “I will f–king kill you, b–h,” the court doc said. 

Castillo was arraigned on both cases Thursday – facing charges of felony and misdemeanor assault, attempted robbery, grand larceny, menacing and criminal possession of a weapon, prosecutors said. 

Castillo, of East Harlem, was ordered held on $5,000 cash bail or $10,000 bond during his Thursday morning arraignment, online court records show.

Prosecutors had requested a higher bail amount, at $50,000 cash or $100,000 bond, they said. 

Castillo’s most recent prior arrest was for a domestic violence assault in November, and he’s also been nabbed for petit larceny, evading the subway fare and criminal possession of a weapon, cops said.
