The union representing the New York Racing Association’s maintenance workers has reportedly authorized a strike that could affect Saturday’s Belmont Stakes, where I’ll Have Another is going for the Triple Crown.

The 150 workers — including the starting-gate crew — of International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers Local 3 have been without a contract since February, the Daily Racing Form said.
