And you thought the coronavirus spoiled your plans.

A Washington state couple traveled thousands of miles to the Big Apple to see a Broadway play, go to the St. Patrick’s Day Parade and compete in the city’s half marathon — all of which were canceled or postponed due to the outbreak.

“We are disappointed,” said Ed Everstine, 69, who was visiting from Spokane with his wife, Rita. “We were looking forward to everything. It’s New York City!”

New York’s most unlucky tourists said they paid $400 for tickets to a March 17 showing of the hit musical “Tina” — before all Broadway productions were shut down as a response to the coronavirus pandemic.

“It’s unfortunate,” said Rita, 67. “We grew up on Tina. Those legs!”

Their dream to party at New York City’s annual St. Patrick’s Day Parade was also dashed when the event was postponed indefinitely. And the New York City Half Marathon — which Rita planned to run in on Sunday — was scraped to “facilitate social distancing,” organizers said.

The pair, which is only in town for a week, now plans to hang out near Times Square, jog in Central Park and go out to eat. “Hopefully the restaurants will stay open because we want to get all the good New York food,” said Rita.

She’s “sad” about the missing the marathon and the Paddy’s day celebration but understands it’s important to  prevent the virus from spreading, she said.

“We did get to cross one thing off our bucket list,” she said. “We went to the Empire State Building.”
