A career criminal was held without bail yesterday in a push-in robbery spree last week targeting Upper East Side women.
Tyrone Hunter, a 55-year-old registered sex offender, faces up to life in prison on the current charges, which will go before a grand jury tomorrow.
He was arraigned on charges of burglary and attempted robbery in two of the five crimes in which he’s suspected — the first on Nov. 24 on 83rd Street, and the second a day later on 89th.
Hunter has spent the majority of his life behind bars for violent robberies and rape.
