A swanky Upper East Side restaurant is serving up Irish beef for the first time since a 1998 ban due to mad-cow disease.
It tastes “a little bit different” than US beef, Ireland’s agriculture minister, Simon Coveney, said at the restaurant Daniel Monday.
He said there’s no reason to fear high-quality beef from Ireland because it’s grass-fed.
