A gay US Army specialist came out on national TV in Manhattan on Sunday while celebrating the Pride march.

Spc. Brion Houston was interviewed in the crowds in New York City when he was asked if he had come out yet to his colleagues in the military.

“Not yet — but now I am. This is my coming out!” said the soldier from Vermont.

“This is absolutely incredible,” he said of his first time at Pride, wearing a vest with rainbow colors.

“On the 50th anniversary of Stonewall, there’s no better time to be out in the military than right now,” he said.

Houston was among millions watching as the parade and march, billed as the biggest LGBTQ demonstration and celebration in the world, headed down Fifth Avenue at noon.
