Reports of a track fire at the 72nd Street station is creating chaos for evening commuters who take the 1,2,3, and 5 trains.

The FDNY responded to calls of a blaze at the Upper West Side station at about 5 p.m., just as the evening rush hour was kicking off.

MTA officials warned riders to expect delays on all four lines.
