A vagrant stabbed a good Samaritan known to feed the homeless at a Queens park — because he believed the do-gooder dropped off the food too late, authorities said.

The victim, who is in his 30s, brought food to Hoffman Park at Hoffman Drive near 57th Avenue in Elmhurst around 10:10 p.m. Tuesday, cops said.

While there, one of the homeless men confronted him about the apparently delayed delivery — before pulling out an unknown object and stabbing the victim in the chest, police said.

The victim was taken to Elmhurst Medical Center, initially in critical condition, but he was listed in stable condition by Wednesday morning, police said.

Police say the victim may have been from a local church, based on an account from a witness who knew the victim and was also from the church.

The suspect fled out of the park.
