A Brooklyn man slapped with a life sentence for commissioning a killing to cover up a credit-card scam saw his conviction tossed by a Manhattan federal court yesterday.
In a split decision, the US Second Circuit Court said prosecutors should not have been allowed to use a video statement by Ellis Wood.
