Terrifying surveillance footage captured the moment a speeding charter bus ran a red light and plowed into an MTA bus in Queens early Monday, killing three people and injuring 16 others.
The 14-second clip, obtained by ABC 7, shows the city bus — which had a green light — halfway into a right turn from Main Street onto Northern Boulevard in Flushing when its back end is suddenly struck by the out-of-control private bus, causing the city bus to completely spin around.
The private bus, operated by the Flushing-based Dahlia Travel and Tours, then crashes into a corner Kennedy Fried Chicken.
The speedometer from the charter bus was stuck at 60 mph, more than twice the speed limit.
The bus driver, an MTA passenger and a pedestrian were killed in the collision.
