Cops have released a video of a barefoot assailant who they believe knocked out a rabbi’s teeth with a paving stone in Crown Heights.
The video, shared on social media by the NYPD Wednesday afternoon, shows a shoeless man in shorts and T-shirt jogging on the grass through Lincoln Terrace Park.
The man is suspected of punching 64-year-old Rabbi Avraham Gopin in the face and cracking him in the mouth with a paving stone, knocking out some teeth, according to cops.
The violent encounter, which is being investigated as a possible hate crime, happened just before 7:45 a.m. Tuesday while Gopin was out for a morning run in the Brooklyn park.
Gopin, who was wearing a yarmulke, confronted the man after he threw a stone in his direction — which sparked the fight, according to police.
