A home health aide can be seen on video staggering through a Bronx hallway while bleeding in a desperate attempt to get help after being attacked, a report said Tuesday.

The aide, 62-year-old Maria Rios, was attempting to flee after she was stabbed by the grandson of a woman she was helping on Sunday, according to WNBC-TV.

As she sought help, Rios was able to knock on the door of a woman who then called 911, the network said.

Cops arrived and took Rios to safety.

The suspected attacker, 45-year-old Marcus Gomez, was found by police in an apartment on the same floor. He was wearing his grandmother’s nightgown when apprehended, NBC said.

Gomez was later charged with assault and criminal possession of a weapon.

Rios was taken to the hospital and expected to survive, according to the network.
