Two gunmen opened fire on a man as he sat in his car during a caught-on-video broad daylight attack in Brooklyn this week, cops said.

The 39-year-old victim was inside his car on Sheffield Avenue near Riverdale Avenue in New Lots around 1:30 p.m. Monday when the two thugs approached, police said.

Surveillance video released late Wednesday shows the pair casually walking in the middle of the street, and then speeding up and opening fire as they approached their target.

One of the shooters briefly fell to the ground after opening fire, but then ran off along with the other gunman.

The victim, who was shot multiple times, was rushed to a local hospital where he is expected to survive, police said.

The motive for the shooting and whether the gunmen knew the victim was not immediately clear.
