A mugger stabbed and slashed a man before taking off with his electric scooter in Queens, new video released by police shows. 

The 51-year-old victim was standing on Greenpoint Avenue near 46th Street in Sunnyside, next to his scooter, around 1:50 a.m. Saturday when another man carrying a backpack approached, according to police. 

When the victim refused to give up his scooter, the suspect stabbed him in the torso and slashed him in the neck, cops said.

Video released by cops Tuesday night shows the suspect appearing to talk to the victim before lunging at him with the weapon and grabbing hold of the scooter.

The victim was taken to Elmhurst Hospital Center in stable condition.
