Chilling video shows a subway pusher appearing to eye his random victim and then rush up behind him to shove him onto the train tracks in The Bronx over the weekend.
The terrifying attack happened around 11:50 a.m. Saturday while the 26-year-old victim was waiting for a northbound No. 6 train at the East 149th Street station, cops said.
Footage released by police Sunday shows the attacker first looking at the man, then walking up behind him and lurching toward the stranger before backing off again, in an apparent failed attempt.
Then the wild-eyed suspect runs up behind the man again and pushes him, cops said. The video doesn’t show the actual push.
The No. 6 train was arriving at the station at the time, but witnesses helped the man up, and he wasn’t struck by the train, cops said.
The suspect fled in an unknown direction.

Major crime on the subways is up 42% so far this year compared to the same time period in 2021, including eight murders, NYPD and MTA data shows.
