A 60-year-old man who jumped to the tracks to retrieve his cellphone was killed by an A train in Greenwich Village yesterday, sources said.

Vit Lukacik of Queens was struck by the southbound train entering the 14th Street/Eighth Avenue station at 3:14 p.m.

Sources said the man was not aware the train was approaching.

Lukacik was pronounced dead by EMS.

Train service on the A line was restored to the station at 4:45 p.m. according to an MTA spokesperson.
