The community board representing Greenwich Village voted last night to oppose NYU’s controversial, $6 billion expansion plans.

“The board was extremely concerned about the impact . . . on this historic neighborhood,” CB2 Chair Brad Hoylman told The Post.

But Hoylman said the board’s vote was only advisory and NYU could go ahead with its plans if it receives the support of the City Planning Commission and Manhattan Borough President Scott Stringer.
