Former city Schools Chancellor Joe Fernandez feels vindicated two decades after he was forced out of the job for pushing the “Rainbow Curriculum” to teach youngsters tolerance toward gay families.

One book in the curriculum for first-graders was “Heather has Two Mommies.” Now, two mommies can marry in New York.

“I still feel what I did was right,” Fernandez, 75, told The Post.
