The music has stopped for a violinist who claims she suffered a traumatic brain injury during her landlord’s renovation work at her Upper East Side apartment building.
Suzanne Chaplin was practicing her violin when workers doing “heavy renovations” knocked a painting off her wall and onto her head, she says in a lawsuit filed against landlord David Ennis and The Daten Group.
The accident left her with a serious brain injury and unable to play her instrument, Manhattan Supreme Court papers say.
Ennis declined to comment on the accident.
