Mayor Bloomberg’s Albany allies are turning against his plan to bring livery taxi service to the outer boroughs.

Assemblyman Vito Lopez said he no longer supports the plan.

“My position is to lay the bill aside, create a task force, and have hearings in all five boroughs,” said Lopez.

His change of heart comes after meetings with industry brass, he said. He is now urging Gov. Cuomo not to sign the bill.
