Walmart ponied up $4 million yesterday to fund nearly 15 percent of the city’s entire summer-youth employment program.

Officials said the donation would add 3,400 jobs.

The donation was announced at the Brownsville Recreation Center in Brooklyn, two miles from where Walmart is battling to open its first New York City outlet.
