Walk this way.
New Yorkers live in the best US city for walking, with attractive neighborhoods that offer easy access to local amenities, according to a new survey.
New York was a step ahead of San Francisco and Boston, according to Walk Score, a Seattle-based Web site.
The most walkable areas include Little Italy, SoHo, Greenwich Village and Brooklyn Heights.
“I can get anything I need here just by walking a few blocks,” said Ali Leon, 28, a Village consultant. “Great food, great restaurants and shopping. Why would anyone have a car?”
