Here’s a sure sign that Wall Street is flying high again.

Financial whizzes from tony towns on the northern reaches of the Jersey Shore are signing up for a speedy new helicopter service to Manhattan that took off yesterday.

The price for the 8-minute trip is $99 each way — except for Friday evenings and Monday mornings, when the price goes up to $139.

Liberty Helicopter has started running three daily trips in each direction on weekdays; each flight carries six passengers. Patrick Day, the company’s vice president of marketing, plans to expand.

“We have a lot of people who are hungry for this service,” Day said. “There’s a lot of higher-end people who live in Rumson and the Jersey Shore who work downtown.”

A $198 daily commute may sound expensive to New Yorkers who pay $89 for a month of unlimited bus and subway rides, but Day says it’s chump change to his customers, whose copter commutes shave hours from their travel time.
