PRINCETON, NJ — Princeton University students faced off yesterday on the Middle East with a referendum on, of all things, hummus.

The Princeton Committee for Palestine wants university-run stores to offer more brands of the chickpea dip besides Sabra.

Sabra, it says, is linked to Israeli human-rights violations — a claim Sabra denies.
