A Long Island City worker was crushed to death by a jumbo marble slab in a warehouse Friday, authorities said.

The 50-year old man, who was trapped underneath the stone, suffered severe trauma to his neck, officials said. Paramedics pronounced him dead at the scene.

The incident was reported about 5 p.m. at Leadstone USA’s warehouse in Queens. Police are investigating.

The company, located at 50-09 27th Ave., markets “the largest standard size slabs in the industry at 126” x 64”. Our material is composed of 93% natural Quartz and 7% resin which makes it the hardest and most durable stone on the market today,” according to the company’s website.

Authorities have not yet released the man’s identity.
