He only needed one hand to pull off this heist!

A one-armed bandit was caught on camera swiping a package from a Woodhaven home, cops and residents said.

A UPS package truck is shown delivering a QVC package to the home near 86th Avenue shortly before 6 p.m. July 23. Several minutes later, surveillance video captures what appears to be a one-armed thief opening the home’s gate, and swiping the package off the family’s doorstep. The man is missing his right arm, and drives up in a silver minivan, according to the video.

“It appears that he has one arm, I’d bet money on it. I think that it would help narrow it down,” said Edward Wendell, 47, president of the Woodhaven Residents Block Association. “We hope this person is caught! This was a quirky crime, and the fact that it was caught on video is great.”

Ken Kelly, 55, a high school teacher who lives at the home, said his wife had ordered shampoo, but didn’t receive the package. They reviewed the surveillance video from the day, and were stunned to watch the bandit walk brazenly up to their porch.

“It’s disturbing, but it’s important to have the video,” Kelly said. “It’s the best way to catch these people.”

Kelly filed a police complaint, and shared the video with the cops. No arrests have been made yet, police said. The block association posted the video on their website, and are hoping someone will recognize the thief.

“It was so clearly caught on camera, and it’s shocking how casually he does it,” said Wendell.
