A water-main break in SoHo flooded a subway station and surrounding streets and halted some trains Sunday, officials said.

“At approximately 10:41 a.m., New York City Transit personnel observed a water condition on the 1/2/3 line near Canal Street as a result of a water main break,” MTA spokesman Aaron Donovan said in a statement.

The Canal Street Station at Broadway in Manhattan was inundated with water, as were some streets around it, photos show.
