BOICEVILLE, NY — A small explosion in an upstate high-school science lab has injured seven students and their teacher, state police said.
The injuries were minor and it wasn’t immediately clear what caused the explosion at Onteora HS in Boiceville, trooper Joseph Temple said. The teacher was cut by flying glass, but the nature of the students’ injuries wasn’t immediately known yesterday.
Boiceville is about 50 miles south of Albany in Ulster County.
