Transportation Security Administration officials said yesterday that they had fired eight air marshals for drinking on the job and suspended six more for not ratting out their well-oiled comrades.

All 14 were seen carrying their guns and badges during a liquid lunch break from training at the New York field office in February, the federal agency said.
