Comptroller John Liu is A-OK to David Weprin.

Weprin, a state assemblyman who ran against Liu in the 2009 comptroller race, told a Jewish-news Web site that he would back Liu for re-election, despite the ongoing federal probe into Liu’s fund-raising. Liu’s term as comptroller ends in 2013.

Weprin (D-Queens) repeated to The Post yesterday his support for the embattled comptroller.
