Maybe Staten Island Chuck was on to something when he saw his shadow last week.

New Yorkers are getting a respite today from one of the worst winters on record, with temperatures predicted to climb to 40 and the sun finally making an appearance.

“What can be better than a sunny Sunday?” said Rasheed Karsaburan, 34, a horse-drawn-carriage driver in Central Park.

While temperatures are expected to stay in the 40s tomorrow, some snow is expected tomorrow night.
