The Working Families Party’s corporate arm yesterday agreed to annual audits, more detailed contracts with political candidates and a new board of directors with no ties to the labor-backed political party — changes outlined in a sweeping settlement to avoid a trial.
The corporation, Data and Field Services, and the City Council campaign of Debi Rose (D-SI) were being sued because DFS allegedly provided Rose with below-market-value election services.
