The Working Families Party blasted out 200,000 text messages to voters in an 11th hour attempt to take down Rep. Sean Patrick Maloney in Thursday’s Democratic primary for state attorney general.

The left-leaning party, which co-endorsed Letitia James and Zephyr Teachout, views the Hudson Valley congressman as too moderate for its tastes.

“This is Jen from the Working Families Party. Today is Democratic primary day in New York. If you vote today, we urge you to VOTE AGAINST Sean Patrick Maloney for Attorney General,” the text said.

It claimed that he “bragged about voting against President Obama `42% of the time” and “voted with Donald Trump” more than any Democrat in Congress.

The effort was part of the WFP’s $250,000 anti-Maloney campaign that also included cable TV, digital ads and spots on music streaming services Pandora and Spotify.

There was no immediate comment from the Maloney campaign.
