Delightful spring-like weather will hit the Big Apple on Saturday — a welcome contrast to last weekend’s arctic blast, meteorologists said Friday.
Temperatures will spike to a sunny high of 58 degrees on Saturday, according to AccuWeather meteorologist David Dombek, while Sunday will be mostly sunny with a high of 56.
“It’s amazing,” Dombek said. “It’s a night-and-day difference, if you contrast this weekend and last weekend. It’s definitely a taste of spring.”
He added, “It’s going to be really sunny and dry. Get out and enjoy it!”
But warm weather is “only temporary” — moist, chilly air will strike the city by late Sunday or early Monday morning, Dombek warned.
Last weekend, temps were in the single digits in New York City.
