Kelvin Dennison after he allegedly robbed Santander Bank.NYPD A wheelchair-bound man has been arrested for a Queens bank robbery after a surveillance photo of a rolling bandit prompted a flood of tips to a police hot line, officials said Friday.
Kelvin Dennison, of Astoria — paralyzed by a gunshot as a teen — robbed a Santander Bank in Long Island City Monday, cops said.
He handed a teller a note demanding cash and rolled off with $1,212, cops said.
The NYPD released photos of the robber that day, garnering 50 to 70 tips.
Dennison, 23, was arrested Wednesday.
Hours before the heist, he got into a dispute with his mother at their home, and she called police, sources said. A domestic-incident report was taken.
He was busted in January after allegedly throwing a kitchen utensil at a 5-year-old in his home, sources said. No one was hurt.
He was held on $150,000 bail after an arraignment Thursday.
